I’m The Only Legal Wife Of Ojukwu, Bianca Tells Court

The trial in the ongoing legal battle between the widow of the late Ikemba of Nnewi, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, Bianca Ojukwu and his brothers over the family estate commenced yesterday before a Lagos state High Court sitting at Igbosere.


Mrs. Ojukwu in her evidence in chief before Justice Abdulfattah Lawal, admitted that neither she nor her children are shareholders or directors in Ojukwu Transport Limited, OTL.

She also admitted that Ojukwu has eight children which includes the claimants, Afamefuna and Nwachukwu, adding that she is the only one that was legally married among Ojukwu’s wives, as she engaged in court, Church and traditional marriage.

Court Remands 3 Accused For Alleged Gang Rape Of 19 Years Girl

An Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court, Ibadan, has remanded, Johnson Fabelurin, 23; Olalekan Oladejo, 21; and Toheeb Farayola, 22; in prison custody for alleged ganged rape of a 19-year-old lady. The accused persons were arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy, unlawful carnal knowledge and exhibiting its video coverage.

I Borrowed Money For His Studies, Now He Says I’m Old - Wife Tells Court

There was a mild drama recently at the Agboyi/Ketu customary court when a woman Ethel Amagala 53, who had earlier approached the court for the dissolution of her marriage with one Emmanuel Amagala, 60, stormed the court in anger over newspaper publication of her divorce case. Mrs. Amagala whose children had earlier pleaded the court to discontinue the case, said her husband also became angry when he read their divorce story in the newspaper (not Vanguard). She said: “The children want the case discontinued as it is causing embarrassment to the family. They said they would find a way to bring peace into the family.”

Arms Probe: EFCC Traces N4.75bn To Obanikoro’s Sons

The Task Force investigating the alleged diversion of $2.1bn meant for arms procurement under the immediate past administration of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has embarked on a discrete investigation into the former Minister of State for Defence, Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro.

It was gathered that the team of EFCC investigators had traced the sum of N4.75bn to the account of Silva McNamara Limited with Diamond Bank with links to the family of the former minister.



A top operative of the commission, said that the company had two sons of the former minister on its board.
